Hello!
Today I had a surprise when my older sister picked me up from my volunteer job with a completely random gift of three Silkie chicks!
They are only 6 weeks old, they came from my sisters friend who breeds and shows all different breeds of chickens, which is really cool. I have six ISA Brown hens at the moment which I adore, I have only had them a few months, they are about 35 weeks old and we are getting smothered in eggs!
I'm still not too sure on genders yet, I think I may have a rooster which is what I really wanted, but I wouldn't know the first thing about determining the genders haha.
