I have a 2 1/2 yr old golden comet hen. She is the dominant hen. I only have 9 hens. The others are fine. She is very weak. She tries to eat and drink but will hardly walk at all. She just stands still. Her comb is dry and flopped over and turning purple. She has a messy bottom and seems smelly. I brought her in the basement in a cage this morning and got her warmed up. Gave her scrambled egg and quinoa and mealworms. She ate very little. I put a powdered vitamin, electrolyte and probiotic powder in her water yesterday and she did drink some. It is in her water now but she's not drinking. I find it odd she stands and won't lay down. What should I do next? Any ideas what's wrong?
