Split wings?

Does the mottled chocolate have split wings?
I've read here that sometimes the toms have funky wings and then grow out of them.
He's almost four months old and has been like this for over a month.
Of course he's my favorite and the one I'd like to keep.

I would wait it out. 4 months is far too young to be able to judge a bird. I won't judge any bird until they re 8 to 12 months old for quality.
