Why does my call duck "moonwalk"?

My silver call drake stands up, arches, and walks backwards. Is this normal duck behavior? If so, why does he do this?

I have seen my call drake and some hens stand tall and take a few steps backwards if they're thinking about taking off and flying. Just another thought.

But, only one of my ducks does it, and it is my silver drake, so I am guessing it is just him attracting a lady duck.

I recently got two Call drakes, so I am not really sure what their courting behavior is.
But this is my Mallard trying to impress his ladys. These are the most common courtship behaviors.

And again I am not sure if Calls do something different.

It's normal drake behavior... I've seen them do it to call girls or they also do it sometimes when they're just slightly startled... walking backward is actually not intended, they usually do it in water so they paddle real quick to stay in place as their bill goes into the water and they 'trumpet'...

My juvenile mallard has been doing this, is this the same as yours? Any help would be appreciative.
