I have a hen that will not come around the other hens. when I first got her she would never let me touch her. Now she seems like she is so weak she does not care. She was getting picked on by another chicken and I took that hen out. Now she stays in an area of the pen by herself and does not even go in the coop at night. She will just sleep on the ground. What could this be?

It's difficult to advise without knowing a little about your set up.

What the size of your coop / run respectively (in sqft) and how many birds do you have?
Did you follow a structured integration approach?
What she the only hen that was introduced?
How old is she compared to the rest of the flock?
Do you have multiple feed stations?
Do you have places of refuge within the run?
Is she showing any signs of illness?

I'd be inclined to separate her from the flock, but still remain in the coop and give her food and water and observe her. If she eats and perks up, then thats a good sign.

I'd suggest researching "integration" using the search box if she does perk up.

Thanks. No she was not the only one that was introduced to the new flock. I had 6 and then added three. All the others are perfectly fine. I have 8 and they have a 10x10. Thanks for your help.
