Wheaton American Pit Game Hen needs a home

I live in Lakewood CA. Saturday I found a chicken wandering in my yard. Put up signs in my neighborhood & so far no one has claimed her. I can't keep her & am having a hard time finding somewhere for her. Some other members here have been very helpful. I'm told she is a Wheaton American Pit Game hen. I need to find her a home. Does anyone want her?

Since they just found her they're probably not NPIP certified, and that means it's illegal for them to ship her. Plus it would cost around $50 to do so, not counting the price of the shipping box.

That said, I hope she finds a good home! I'd take her if I wasn't on the other side of the country.

I'm in WA state, and would take her in a heartbeat if she could be shipped. I have two game hens now and love them.
