Point side down?

I received mail order eggs and is very round on both ends. Is there any way to know which side goes down? I tried to candle but no air pocket visible.

Hi there and .
There should be an an air pocket,
If their is none visible then the air pocket is probably,
Broken which means chicks will form but when it comes
To hatching chicks pop the air pocket to get their first breath of
Air but if their is no air pocket the chick will die.
The seller should have packaged the eggs pointy side up.
I would tell the seller that the air pockets are broken and you would like a refund.

2 hatched out of the 7. One cracked, one died after pip. 3 developed embryos but never pipped (one I heard chirping but no pip).Does anyone have a recommendation how long to let shipped eggs rest prior to hatching?

A solid day to 48 hours without tilting and point end down to let them settle.
