Pop up adds

Was wondering if some outside forces are monitoring this web site .I posted a question on gardening and just mentioned that I tried grafting tomatoes the next day I got a pop up ad selling grafted tomatoes on the right hand side of the page.

Have you done Internet searches on grafting tomatoes? Google, bing, Yahoo, etc all remember your search history and will recommend products based on what you've searched for. These advertisers are getting pretty sophisticated.

I don't think BYC actually chooses the advertisements, it's more likely an embedded Google, bing, etc widget or something that is choosing the ad content.

Yes, outside forces... The gubmint.... LOL, I use an ad blocker
