Warrior Code
The following rules are not specifically stated in the warrior code, but are expected to be followed:
A shadow flickered at the edge of IvyPaw's vision. What was that? She spun around, nothing was there. I must be imagining things.

"It's okay. I'm you're kin don't be afraid." IvyPaw stepped backwards, but her way was blocked by a tree. "It's okay, I can train you, to be the best warrior possible. Better then HeatherStar." "Really?", IvyPaw gasped. "What do you say?"the she-cats voice was silky. "How can I decline an offer like that", IvyPaw's eyes gleamed with delight, as she followed the she-cat into the darkness.
A terrible darkness has befallen the clans, after the return of the long, lost MossClan the other four StreamClan, LightningClan, NightClan and MeadowClan are fitting in to normal life, but something is coming. Striking at night and targeting apprentices a strange darkness is tearing the clans apart.
The Clans:
LightningClan: Fast and loyal. They live on the open hills a small stream runs through their camp, sourced by a waterfall from the StarPool. Their camp is a shallow scoop in the ground. the warrior den is a gorse bush and the other dens are tunnels in the side of the camp. The leader's den is a burrow that leads up to the storm rock, a jagged rock poking out from the edge of camp.
StreamClan: Sleek and well-fed. The other clans often view StreamClan with a lot of suspision as they actually like getting wet paws. They live on a large island in the middle of a lake. They mainly eat fish, crabs and freshwater crayfish, although somethimes a cat manages to catch a mouse or a eel. Their camp is a deep gorge and the dens are dug among roots from the circle of willow trees. The leader's den is a cave behind a stream. The place the leader makes annoucements is called the mistrock.
NightClan: These cats live in the marsh. Their territory is laced with pine trees that block out the sun. They mostly eat squirrels and mice although the occaissonal frog is caught.The camp is covered by a thick black berry bush with entrance tunnels. The dens are bushes. The leader's den is a rock cave. The leader calls clan meetings from the shade rock.
MeadowClan: Small golden-pelted cats that live in the long grass. That best describes MeadowClan. These cats are quite small their camp is a circle of small bushes with dens among the grass. They hunt mice, voles, lemmings and the odd rabbit or two if they can catch one. MeadowClan are shy and aren't often seen by the other clans. The high rock is in this clan.
MossClan: MossClan live in a forest. Most of the trees are oak, but there are quite a few silver birches dotting the territory. A large stream runs through the territory. They are loyal, brave cats. They mainly eat mice, squirrels, birds and voles. They are quite calm although, sometimes the other clans spark hostility.
StarClan: Fallen clan members, StarClan live in territories that are exactly the same as the living clans.
Shadow Forest: Evil, darkhearted cats that train other mortal warriors in their sleep.
Other Places:
StarPool: Large sparkling pool of silver water.
Lake: Huge mass of crystal blue water, hosts two islands.
Fourtrees: On a small island near MeadowClan territory the tree bridge leads to this place. Every full moon the clans gather here on nights of complete peace.
Twoleg greenleaf camp: Twolegs often visit here in large groups.
Ranks:
Leader: The leader owns the clan. They make all the major desions of the clan. The leader makes announcements at gatherings. The leader is gifted 8 more lives by StarClan the lives are gifted by cats that have been major parts of their lives. The leader's name has to end with star WillowStar, SwiftStar, FlameStar etc

Queen: A she-cat that is pregnant or has kits under six moons old. Queens live in the nursery they stay in the nursery until their kits are six moons old. Normal warrior names
Permanent Queen: Lives in the nursery, they stay in the nursery caring for kits and keeping it clean.
Kit: A cat that is under six moons old. Kits live in the nursery and aren't allowed to leave camp.
Elder: An old retired cat they live in the elder's den. Sometimes cats retire early due to failing sight, being crippled or failing health.

Kittypets: Cats that live with twolegs, they eat gross rabbit pellets, and sleep in soft beds. They sometimes join clans.
Loner: A cat that lives outside the clans but is generally friendly, loners don't usaly own a territory.

Wild Garlic: Rolling in this herb can help to keep infection out of wounds. It is also good for rat bites.
Other Non-Herbal Treatments:
1. Gently nipping a cat's spine or pokeing it hard with a claw tests to see if the backbone is broken. If the subject does not feel the nip or poke, then the sprine is broken. Many times a medicene cat will have to poke/nip the subject multiple times in different places to find the break.
2. Licking a cat's fur can help clean wounds, comfort/calm down a shocked or grieving cat, and warm a cat who has become very cold. (Lick the cat's fur the wrong way to do this. The last method is most often used on kits.)
3. Soaking moss in water and holding the dripping moss before a sick, injured or weak cat makes it easier for them to drink. Soaked moss can also be used to cool feverish cats.
4. Rosemary or mint can be used to lighten the death-scent of a dead cat before burial.
5. Using nectar, honey or mouse blood can make herbs sweeter and more appealing to cats--therefore making it easier to take the medicene.
6. Holding a swelling wound in cold water takes down swelling. Cats can also soothe scraped pads by soaking them in water.
7. A cat with weak or hurting muscles/bone can take part in water therapy. Have them wade in water that is not too deep or shallow, and eventually they'll get stronger.
8. Having a sick cat wail or yowl keeps their lungs and chest clear of mucus.
Taking Care of Your Herbs:
Here is how a medicene cat should keep their herbs fresh and useable.
--If any herbs are wet, leave them out in the sun until they dry.
--Gather fresh herbs when your stock gets low.
--Leave enough of the herb on the plant you use for gathering it so it can reproduce
--Check your store often and throw out old herbs or herbs that have lost their healing qualities.
Other Herbs To Keep in the Medicene Den:
Note: ONLY use these herbs for self-defense against a cat who is a danger to all the Clans, or if a cat from your own Clan asks for a quick, painless path to StarClan while on his or her deathbed.
Holly Berries: A poisonous berry. Cats die almost instantly if they are consumed. If consumtion if not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
Deathberries (Yew berries): A posionous berry. Cats die almost insyantly if they are consumed. If consumtion is not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
The berries listed above can also be used as traps for dangerous predators. (Snakes, moutian lions, foxes, badgers, ect.) Stuff a piece of fresh-kill with these berries and set it near the pedator's den. They will die quickly and painlessly.

Warrior Code
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
- Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before Apprentices and Warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their Warrior Name.
- A cat cannot be made Deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
- The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
- After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
- A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
- Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
- No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
- The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
- A warrior rejects the soft life of a Kittypet
- Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
- Cats on their way to the StarPool are allowed to cross other Clans' territories to get to their destination - LightningClan grounds on the hills and MossClan grounds by the lake, in the forest.
- At the lake, cats may travel on other Clans' grounds as long as they are within two fox-lengths of the lake; for instance, to go to a Gathering.
- Cats may travel on other Clan territories if they have something to report or ask for help.
- The code is flexible about leadership challenges. Cats may challenge a weak or cruel leader if their Clan is in danger, and if their leadership threatens the Clan, the code expects a warrior to challenge their leader.

Wild Garlic: Rolling in this herb can help to keep infection out of wounds. It is also good for rat bites.
Other Non-Herbal Treatments:
1. Gently nipping a cat's spine or pokeing it hard with a claw tests to see if the backbone is broken. If the subject does not feel the nip or poke, then the sprine is broken. Many times a medicene cat will have to poke/nip the subject multiple times in different places to find the break.
2. Licking a cat's fur can help clean wounds, comfort/calm down a shocked or grieving cat, and warm a cat who has become very cold. (Lick the cat's fur the wrong way to do this. The last method is most often used on kits.)
3. Soaking moss in water and holding the dripping moss before a sick, injured or weak cat makes it easier for them to drink. Soaked moss can also be used to cool feverish cats.
4. Rosemary or mint can be used to lighten the death-scent of a dead cat before burial.
5. Using nectar, honey or mouse blood can make herbs sweeter and more appealing to cats--therefore making it easier to take the medicene.
6. Holding a swelling wound in cold water takes down swelling. Cats can also soothe scraped pads by soaking them in water.
7. A cat with weak or hurting muscles/bone can take part in water therapy. Have them wade in water that is not too deep or shallow, and eventually they'll get stronger.
8. Having a sick cat wail or yowl keeps their lungs and chest clear of mucus.
Taking Care of Your Herbs:
Here is how a medicene cat should keep their herbs fresh and useable.
--If any herbs are wet, leave them out in the sun until they dry.
--Gather fresh herbs when your stock gets low.
--Leave enough of the herb on the plant you use for gathering it so it can reproduce
--Check your store often and throw out old herbs or herbs that have lost their healing qualities.
Other Herbs To Keep in the Medicene Den:
Note: ONLY use these herbs for self-defense against a cat who is a danger to all the Clans, or if a cat from your own Clan asks for a quick, painless path to StarClan while on his or her deathbed.
Holly Berries: A poisonous berry. Cats die almost instantly if they are consumed. If consumtion if not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
Deathberries (Yew berries): A posionous berry. Cats die almost insyantly if they are consumed. If consumtion is not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
The berries listed above can also be used as traps for dangerous predators. (Snakes, moutian lions, foxes, badgers, ect.) Stuff a piece of fresh-kill with these berries and set it near the pedator's den. They will die quickly and painlessly.
