Hi everyone --

I thought I'd let you know about another opportunity to play for the good folks of Arkansas. We're putting together another little shindig here on the banks of the North Fork of Cadron in June -- the 17th and 18th -- known as the EarthWays Community Gathering that we hope will become an annual event and prove to be as successful as our Flux music and arts festivals. EarthWays is a family-friendly workshop and music festival devoted to sustainable living and a deep ecology that values all life -- "less flow, more glow". Everything from natural medicine and home schooling to sewing, gardening and husbandry will be covered. We'll have carpenters, botanists and herbalists, hydrologists, goatropers and farmers, a veterinarian, midwives, etc. You get the overall idea and you may already know the venue -- a 100 acre campground and park known Cadron Creek Outfitters (http://www.cadroncreekoutfitters.com/) near Guy Arkansas.

We'd love to to offer a seminar or two on raising backyard chickens for those so interested -- and many are! We plan on having chickens, goats and pigs on site in addition to a few other farm animals. This is a great way to expand your network of friends or if you are in the business of selling eggs, chickens or accessories a great way to market to those who have a shared interest. If you are interested in helping us out -- we'll return the favor: free admission, free food and a little gas money to cover your expenses. It will be a great weekend on the creek and we hope you come join us. Lots of music too! All homegrown -- bluegrass, folk, singer-songwtiter, etc. So if June 17 or 18 are looking good we hope you can scratch us in -- we'll have everything "firmed up" by the end of April and then make it happen. It looks like we are going to have a great time.

With warmest regards, John at Cadron Creek Outfitters
