Hello all, we own 4 lovely ladies, we have noticed over the last few days that 2 of them have white on their comb's. We've only had them for a week, so we are unsure if this is normal or not. The white isn't fluffy and doesn't seem to be getting any worse. They are very active and friendly birds. Does anyone know if this white patch is normal?

You are showing a picture of their ear lobes not their comb. Ear lobes vary in colour according to breed. Most breeds have red ones but some have white and silkies have a very pretty turquoise. The ear lobes on your hen have a slight whitening to them which may be as a result of their mixed breeding.... it looks like you have red sex link hens. Anyway, the white colouring is nothing to worry about.
For your information, the red fleshy part on the top of the head is the comb and those below the beak are the wattles.

In the interests of accuracy, ear lobes and ears are actually two different things. Ear lobes are the fleshy protuberance you were querying the colouration of, the ears themselves are the holes behind the tufts of feathers just above them.
