Hi everyone! My name is Jenni and I am a new baby chick mama. We have 5 that we bought from the local Theisens. I have had them for 1 week and they have grown so fast already, developing their own little personalities. I am in Iowa so they are inside for now as we await being able to put their cute lil tushies outside. They all pretty much look the same so far except a few different facial features. 1 of them, we call her Pb, came home w pasty butt (this her name lol) that we can't seem to kick. Any guidance w this? I am cleaning her tush and putting ointment on it. But I work. And sometimes after a 15 hour shift I can tell the ointment is gone and she is icky again. Here's my babes!

Hi Jenni and welcome to BYC. congrats on your new little flock. Here's a search that should have some links that will help you - https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=pasty+butt

More generally, you'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.
