"Sophie" was born October 12th 2016. She is my first Brahma. Boy or girl?

Because of how big and bright its comb is, the size of its feet, and the feathers on the tail (a few look like they might be sickle feathers), I'm going to have to guess that your bird is a boy. Very pretty though!

Thank you! Sophie is huge and doesn't crow yet but doesn't chase the girls around like my other roos who are 2 weeks older. Also found "her" in the nesting box the other day. Tush is fairly round like my other hens.Regardless, he/she is a keeper

Definitely male. Pretty boy!

Can i get a close pic of the back/tail. Sometimes subordinate roosters are more like hens rather then roosters.

Sophie is definitely all boy. Very obvious male saddle feathers.
