We got chickens for the first time ever and they happened to have fertile eggs. So we bought an incubator and so far it's been a 100% hatch rate (2 more to go in a couple of days). But does anyone know if their colors are possibly an indicator of their gender? The 2 moms are Rhode Island Reds and supposedly the dad was a Gold Laced Wyandotte. The eggs from both moms have given us black and blonde chicks. Also, any ideas on the best way to figure out gender for us newbies would be great
