Extremely thick white albumen in an otherwise normal egg

One of my hens has been laying eggs with an extremely thick white albumen surrounding a normal yolk. The shell is normal as well. The other eggs I collect have the normal fresh egg thickness in the albumen but these eggs from this hen are so thick they hold shape when the shell is cracked and it's milky white. What is the issue here? Does anyone know?

Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. I'm not sure what the issue may be, but if you post on this forum you should get some feedback - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/18/chicken-behaviors-and-egglaying

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.
