I would love to see pics and hear how your dorkings are.

I had one Silver Dorking rooster which I lost to a predator last July. I got him in a batch of chicks from a friend at 3 days old. I LOVED that rooster. He changed my mind about owning one. I was dead set against having one until he came along. He was very docile and had a wonderful temperment...not a mean bone in his body.

About 4 wks old...caught napping on the divider of the brooder

Scooter at 8 wks.

Scooter at 12 wks...won second place at the Fair in Open class against more mature birds

I never did newer pics this spring/summer because he'd molted and was looking pretty ratty. He was just feathering back in when he was killed.

I have 3 Black Dorkings that were sent to me free with a order from Sandhill they didn't have what I wanted so they just threw these guys in for free. I need to get some pictures of them for my website so I will post some here also. (they are about 1 month old)
