Wood Ducks For Sale?

Hello I was wondering if anyone knew where to get wood duck ducklings and if they ship to Illinois. Thanks, mkuechen

wood duck ducklings can be realy hard to find and hard to raise if u are new to wood ducks or any oarnamental ducks i would go to a hatchery meyer in my opinion or e fowl

. I wouldn't personally advise buying shipped wood ducklings. They are extremely fragile. I would just wait and buy a adult pair from a breeder. Hatcheries are usually over priced when it comes to exotic fowl

I personally do not know of anyone who would sell wood duck ducklings and ship them. My local waterfowl breeder sells ducklings to me on occasion since we are only half an hour away. Most waterfowl breeders sell ornamental waterfowl in the fall time when they can be sexed. I do raise wood ducks and would be able to ship them if you decided you wanted birds from me.

Hatcheries are overpriced, so reliable breeders I have purchased from are Jamie from Mallard Lane Farms (www.mallardlanefarms.com) and the rest I have found through the For Sale section on the GBWF Forum (http://www.gbwf.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=47&sid=810ae9262f91144631fdee577a24c106)

I caught my wood duck. As for exotic ducks go they are on the cheap side.
