I'm new to BYC although I've been lurking for a while. I'm on a farm in Saskatchewan and have 27 guineas, 5 leghorn hens and one rooster who is going in the soup pot as soon as the weather gets warm enough to do it. I've ordered 25 Buff Orpingtons for May and hope to have them out on grass in a hoop house(which isn't built yet) for the summer. I love having our own eggs and am looking forward to our own meat this fall.
