Two weeks ago I got my first flock of pullets from My Pet Chicken. Two Easter Eggers, a barred rock, a silkie, and a brahma. All are bantams. I was so relieved when all arrived alive and healthy. So far I am loving the chicken raising experience, but I can't get over how quick they're growing! I hope to try and take pictures each week. I'm especially curious to see what colors and patterns my two EEs end up with!

Week 1:

Pia the Easter Egger

Elspeth the Easter Egger

Isabeau the Brahma

Babs the Silkie

Carlotta the Barred Rock

And some extra photos:

Today the flock is 2 weeks old! It was in the mid-70s today, so I decided to take them on a field trip to the big outside!

Elspeth is growing the fastest and has a lot of regular feathers in!

Same with Pia! These two EEs are maturing quickly!

Babs discovered the greatness of dustbaths.

Carlotta was camera shy today. She seems to be the slowest to develop. All the chicks are happy and healthy!

Awwwwwww.
