Well.... That's just my luck!! I guess I need to get more chickens with high hopes of getting hens this time!!! I guess it's time to talk to the hubby tonight and see what he says! Lol ( we already have 25 total)

It's a rooster, and so is the Orpington behind it. Sorry about your bummer luck

I knew the orpington was a roo and my only leghorn I just had to pick out aka bumper and Donald! Now Wanda too!!! I guess he needs a name change... Oh man what to name him! I guess I'll get some pretty baby chicks next year though! ( I'm sad that I'll be missions out on the eggs but I do love hearing the Roos crow!! It makes me happy)

Wow! Which hatchery? I've only had one whoops of eighteen from my local hatchery and as I understand it, that's normal. You must have gotten yours the day they had a trainee working!
