New hamps or rhode islands?

What kind of chickens should I get new hamps or Rhode Island reds they are similar but idk which ones are better

I favor the Rhode Island Reds in my flock. The new hamps were created from RIR stock, I think the RIR's lay a few more eggs as well.

Better in which way - are you wanting the best egg production, best temperament, most friendly......knowing what sort of characteristics you want comparison of will help with which would best fit your wants/needs.

If you're getting them from a hatchery, honestly the difference in size or egg production will be miniscule.
