We are moving our 16 day olds into the enclosed coop today. They just seem to want more space. Hope all goes well! Blocked off nesting boxes and will hang their heat lamp. Any other suggestions? Also when can I let them go in and out into the run? It is all enclosed so no access from predators

Mine went out the other day they're loving it! I kept them in for one day and night then let them out to run for a half day then put them in. Been doing this religiously and now theyr in an out themselves.

But most people keep in for longer periods, so hopefully more members reply with there routines.

In order to 'home' them to the coop, you need to just let them stay inside for a few days, then you can open the door to your secure run and let them explore the big wide world. Chicks are just so cute, and so much fun. Enjoy them all you can.

Best to you and your birds,

RJ
