New Question for New flock mother

I know you can't give chickens tomatoes leaves as they are poisonous. I am a blunt breeder and a seed company owner so I am fully aware of what plants are poisonous and what plants are not. HOWEVER, my concern is that before getting the chickens we used to litter the yard with clippings from our massive tomato plot to detour other critters. Although they are mostly dead and dried do they pose a threat to them?

My chickens free range through my tomatoes and potatoes, and don't eat the leaves. I've never used tomato leaves as mulch or bedding in the coop, though. If the leaves are rotted, I can't see a problem; they will eat the bugs and worms but not the rotten vegetation. Mary
