Help! Sick chick

Is there anything I can do for him. He won't get up and his breathing is labored

It could be cocci so I'd start giving corid, but without more info on his symptoms it's hard to tell.

No pasty butt. He was the second and I just had a third die out of 9. They all looked fine then I'd find one dead.

As lightchick said...start with corrid just in case. Cocci kills very fast. If it isn't that then it won't have hurt anything to have tried it. That is the most common killer of chicks.

Do I have to get this from my vet, or does anyone know a store to get this from? Our local farm stores don't carry this, but I can travel farther away. Unfortunately, this holiday weekend couldn't come to a quicker end.

You usually can get it from a farm store.....I've been told that, but luckily I've never had to buy it.
