These chicks are about 5-6 weeks old, 3 are fully feathered but the RIR is a runt and is still missing some head/neck feathers...our low temp at night is 50-55 degrees, can I kick them out to the coop? I've been putting them in the coop during the day and bringing them back in at night. They were sleeping in a pile when I brought them after dark one night.

I put mine out about a week before these. Although I'm in hawaii we live about 1400ft up and it drops to the low 60s and into the 50s. They are thriving and seem to have gone thru a growth spurt since being released to thier coop. I'm no expert but my girls are doing great!!!

I think they can go out. I live in Northern New Hampshire and it has been in the forties at night and mine are a week younger then yours. They cuddle up and the coop keeps them away from wind etc.
