My four and five year old love our chicks way too much. Everytime I go outside my kids have them on the swings or going down the slide. I just went out and my daughter was trying to help one have a dirt bath. I can't believe how tolerant silkies are. I can almost hear our adult chicken sigh every time she sees them but she just sits down and let's them pick her up.

That's very cute!!! I have a cranky old lady as a pet and I swear every time she sees me coming toward her, she rolls her eyes

. Just make sure they wash their hands before handling them, especially if they've been at school.
