Ammonia : will it KILL my flock :(?!

Hey all,
I am really quite frightened this evening after seeing two large raccoons trying to rip off my duck coop door. My dad ran out and scared the raccoons off. He then (with out my knowledge) sprinkled a lot of ammonia in and around the duck pen. I'm worried that the ammonia will kill my ducks if they ingest it . I'm so scared. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm so worried that they will die from the ammonia .

I don't think it will be a problem from ingestion. Inhalation may be a problem.

It may have been a desperate temporary measure so don't be too hard on him.

Best bet for coons, other than a tight building at night are dog proof leg traps.
