Colour mutations of Valley and Gamble Quails i got off the web

Some of those are bobwhite hybrids, and I'm relatively sure that the lighter colored valley quail are just expressing one of the various forms of albanism. Beautiful birds though.

I cant wait til valley mutations/variations are available readily in captivity.....And yes, DC some of those birds were just showing albinism and most of those pictures in the second post were Blue scaled/bobwhite hybrids, not valley or gambel

I own some valley gambel hybrids, mind you these were not intentional, the guy selling them thought they were pure valley. I bought them anyway because they look neat....Only somewhat knowledgeable people with the two varieties can spot the differences
