We transfered some of our pullets we had seperated from the flock into the flock last night and this morning one of our barred rook pullets looke close to death. She Is barely standing, very weak- not eating or drinking and is sleepy.
I brought her in and gave her some electrolytes and my daughter put her in her lap as she did school. She felt a large bump up on her back near her neck and there was a scabby dried bloody wound there that is knotted up under the skin. I'm worried she has an infection and is dying. What kind of antibiotics should I look at or is it too late?
