What not to do if you are a turkey in the week before Thanksgiving

Talk about being dense

My 3 turkeys went on a walk about Saturday morning

Found them at 8 am on the road in front of my house

Not to bright the week before Thanksgiving

Yeah, my hens like to clear our 5 ft fence and wander about with the neighbors dogs drooling over a fresh meal of turkey. They aren't very bright. But when they get busted being naughty they high tail it to the driveway and the fence that they just cleared, crying and pacing while looking for a way back over the fence. Silly turkeys.

I saw a really smart turkey last year. It was just a couple days before Thanksgiving and we were driving home from town. There was a wild turkey by himself in a field alongside the road. As soon as my husband slowed the car so we could take a better look, that turkey RAN into the trees like his tail feathers were on fire. Now I would call that a smart turkey, lol!
