Need guidelines to change by-laws

Hello,

I need suggestions/guidelines to present to our HOA board to hopefully change our by-laws (from 1967!) to raise hens! Ex: no roosters, # of hens? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I want hens so bad that I am close to keeping them "illigally", I just don't want to be forced to give them up after the time put in to build and prepare for them

Check out Cleveland Ohio's ordinances and laws..its a pretty good guide to use for urban chickens...just Google chickens in Cleveland Ohio...good luck
