Bald spot under chicks wing

I have noticed that my baby chicks are getting a bald spot under one wing. I have see. Mama peck at them. But no bald spots on head. Is it all from mama? Help plz

I had to take from her at least for bit. She is pecking at them can someone help plz

I am having the same problem with one of my larger chicks @chickalicia Did you ever figure it out? BTW I see you are not far from me where did you get your chickies? Rose

Sorry for getting back ltr. A lot going on n sick I got mine from some friends. What I think has happens is my hens wer doing this to them. After I have separated them they t growing. Their wings back fine. Maybe it's same for you. Pecking at them.

I think they need to be put in a bigger box, they are picking on themselves, maybe it is the light. I am not sure. I am in the high desert by Wrightwood. Rose

Don't know about her size or wings, but don't worry about the balding. I've had chicks just be slower to feather out. They lose the fluff but feathers are not emerging yet so they are bald. My anconas had big bald areas for a few months! They eventually feathered in beautifully. Just don't let baby get cold. Is it eating and drinking ok?
