Bald Spots

I have one hen and one rooster. My hen stopped laying about a week ago. She now has bald spots on her back. Is it the rooster doing it or stress of some kind. Should I separate them?

The bald spots are probably the result of him breeding her. Only one hen to a rooster generally results in overbreeding.
