I wanted to do a small project and make some nice, "chocolate" brown bearded/muffed banties. I knew the chocolate OEGB's were not really chocolate, but I went ahead and bought them anyway. Now, I understand nothing about genetics, and when I try to read up on it, it's basically a foreign language to me. No one really explains what any of it means, so I just want a simple answer, if possible.
My question is, can I use these chicks to make "chocolate" (dun) brown birds? I bought black d'Anvers to breed them to. The project was almost scrapped immediately when my d'Anvers arrived nearly dead, but I managed to revive them.
I believe this one is considered khaki?
And this one might actually be slightly brown...
