Sorry Im new here and trying to get my very first homemade incubator up and running for our eggs that we are getting next week. Sorry if this has been asked already. I tried to search for this information but I cant find it. Does anyone know if it is safe for the eggs/chicks to use the expanding foam isolation to fill in holes in a homemade cooler incubator? I'm going to cut a viewing hole in the plastic cooler and cover it with plexiglass. I know that the lid is hollow and wanted to fill it in so not to have to heat all that wasted space, but I don't want to chance the health of our soon to be babies
