With great sadness

Yesterday one of my 12 week old pekin hens was acting a little bit strange. She didn't quite have good balance and she seemed a little fatigued. I removed her from the flock to keep a closer eye on her and after a while she seemed to perk up and start feeling better. This morning I found her sitting in her water pan shivering... I removed her and started the process of trying to warm her and she quickly declined becoming unresponsive and eventually passing in my lap . All of my other birds seem perfect picture of health where she was much smaller and had trouble keeping up with the other girls from the start. I know these things happen and all but I wish I could have helped her.

Thank you guys. I am glad she wasn't scared and alone. I am gonna keep a close eye on the other girls hopefully it wasn't any kind of communicable illness.

So sorry for your loss. Sometimes it happens like that. You did what you could for her.
