chicken tail feathers

Could be molting, one of mine when she molted that was the first sign. Could have been plucked out by another chicken if they've been bickering. Could be a lot of things, mostly normal.

Presence or absence of tail feathers has no bearing on egg laying unless the bird in question has ROOSTER tail feathers....

If no worms, lice, mites, etc are found, then she is likely fine.

How long have you had her, do you know her age? What are you feeding?
