Pojo has a broken toe...curved to the side...

One of our three BR pullets, Pojo, broke a toe on her right foot sometime back. Doesn't seem to affect her activities. Guess she won't be on "Dancing with the Stars". Probably happened when she tripped while trying to jump out the brooder on to the carpet in the study. Will this keep her off a roosting pole? The other birds haven't demonstrated a desire to perch on them, they will be ten weeks old this Wednesday.

As they get older they will love perching and will perch anytime they aren't eating and scratching. She might be affected a bit but will still perch. Moniter her foot to make sure here are no slits and scratches on . If they do she might get a case of bumblefoot

Will try to check out the foot, thanks, but she is very self-conscious about it and always turns her good side to me....vain chicken...
