No, I mean that both parents could have been pure Ameraucana, especially your blue splash. Blue splash happens when two blues are crossed. They have a double dose of the blue dilute gene. While blue is an accepted color, blue splash is not. Chickens aren't like dogs. It doesn't matter whether the parents are purebreds or not. What matters is whether the chicks meet standard or not. You might breed a pure wheaten Ameraucana to a pure Silver Ameraucana, but the chicks will be Easter Eggers, any random nonstandard color.
