Pekin/Bantam Cochin - Yellow Skin

Hey hey, everyone!
just making sure I'm not being under or over cautious.

I know yellowing skin for humans usually relates to liver issues, and I read it can be the same for chooks.

However, I've also read that some breeds can infact have a desirable yellow hue.

She is a 5 month old pekin/bantam buff cochin, eating and drinking, and seems to behave normally.

I'm hoping to find out she is healthy, or what should happen next (vet or otherwise.)

I have a little bantam pekin that looks exactly the same! We've only had her for 2 weeks and I have no idea if its normal or indicates health issues.. Did you ever find out?

Any update on if the bright yellow is normal? Just got a 6 month old frizzle Cochin with very yellow skin and feet like this. Did urs live or need to see a vet?

@RosesChickens it looks like the member that made this post hasn't been active since the day of this post.

Both of my Cochin Bantams have yellow skin. I may be wrong but I thought this was the proper color for the color variations I have ~ white and barred. What color is yours?

Cochins are supposed to have yellow skin, yes.

Both have really yellow feet. But frizzle shows more of the yellow face. Maybe cause the other is red and at laying age?
will the yellow in her face turn red like the other one?

The one is mixed. The frizzled bird will redden up in the face once she starts laying.
