Starting now, all new items for sale must be placed using the new "Auction / Listings" system.
"Wanted To Buy" items are the only postings that can be made as standard threads, but these MUST have Subjects that start with the text "WTB" or they will be deleted by our staff.
BSA Rules:
Listings that don't follow these guidelines will be removed. Members that don't adhere to the rules will be warned and possibly banned from the forum.
1. Backyardchickens and the BYC Staff do not endorse items for BSA and are not responsible for anything related to BSA transactions between the members.
2. Buyer Beware – review the history of the person with whom you are transacting.
3. Be honest and follow through with your sale or your purchase.
4. If you have an issue, try to resolve it privately. If you feel the person is a repeat offender please use the report button so the staff can review. Do not address this in the public forum.
5. No “bumping” of BSA listings. This includes “chatter” which should go into other sections of the forum.
6. Have a great time and good luck with your buying and selling.
BSA Posting Limits:
We're instituting the following limits for the number of BSA Listings Per Member. These apply across all BSA sections together. Each of the following member types can create the following number of new listings per 30 day period:
Standard Members: 3 BSA listings per 30 day period
Golden Feather Members: 10 BSA listings per 30 day period
If you plan to list more than 10 items for sale per 30 day period please contact sales@backyardchickens.com
The new BSA section has a built in feedback system, but you'll still be able to access the old feedback information here:
• Seller / Buyer Feedback Database
• WANTED: Positive Feedback on BYC sellers
IMPORTANT: The new feedback system has been reset. Please see this post: http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=260318
UPDATE - All "Wanted To Buy" items MUST go into the new "Wanted To Buy" section here. They are not required to have the subject line "WTB" but that still might be helpful to add.
