yea count me in. thats if i can get my white silkies to lay more eggs. they just started laying 4 weeks ago. this will aslo be my first test hatch from them.


home to a wonderful wife, two boys, 7 ducks,16 light brahmas,20 rirs,lots of guineas, white silkies,a few mutt hens, one dog, chicks and keets hatching all the time. hatching eggs also

I will be putting cochin and silkie eggs in the bator next week. Hoping to set them in there Wed or Thur to hatch for Thanksgiving! The kids and I are all off school and work for the week. I can't wait. It's our first hatch!

I set 17 duck eggs yesterday to hatch on Thanksgiving

At this point I should be getting eggs on Tuesday/Wednesday  Should be in the bator by Thursday so i am joining this hatch wee
Will be getting RIR, BS/BSL, silkies and 2 dozen mixed.

We just set up our coop and two breeding pens with specific hens and roos.... and I've still got to buy a Blue Wheaten roo.

We plan on setting Eggs on December 11th for a New Year's Hatch.


29 hens, 3 roos and 9 juvies.  Breeds of choice: Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas, FBC & GC Marans, various polish, EE & backyard mixes.
