By this!...
My outside cat just sat on the ground looking at the chicken, then looking at me like "well aren't ya' gonna do anything?" I hope she doesn't do this tomorrow, but this girl has been my problem chicken from the get go...the difficult one. Trying to sleep in the trees, chasing the cat, and now laying eggs in the breezeway.
It was sooo funny!

Lets face it...the girl goes for comfort. Can you blame her?

Tell your cat that she can have her bed back when she starts laying eggs. Hmm, on second thought, that sounds kind of gross

The hen did it again this morning...as soon as I let her out of her coop she came runnin...so the cat is sittin' there watching
now there's an egg in the cat bed again!

She has figured out that you take the eggs to the house and wants to save you the trouble of walking all the way to the hen house and back by bringing her egg to you. What could be nicer than that? Very cute -- in fact this made my day!

Can you blame her? That bed looks comfy!

So what did you expect? These are tough times and lots of things are being stolen, especially if you leave them outside. A chicken's gotta do what a chicken's gotta do to get by nowadays.
