looks ameraucana to me

He's an ee. He looks very similar to a silver ameraucana, but he is an ee. If he were an ameraucana his brother would have looked exactly like him. They have to breed true.

His body type is not quite right and his head and facial expressions are also not of an ameraucana. His eyes look green.

Just wondering what color are Ameraucana's eyes? Is there a standard color. I was just curious. Thanks smile

They do look a little green in the pic, but they are a very orange brown. I thought Silver was his brother, but now I remember he is his son, but now I can't remember who momma is?

I'm no expert on ameraucanas, but here's the photo of a silver ameraucana from the breeder's club posted by Pipersmark.

Your rooster looks similar, but has a lot of white speckling/lacing on his chest and lower body that shouldn't be there. I don't think he is a purebred ameraucana, but he is a beautiful easter egger.

Bay = reddish brown
