Hi All,
My Buff Orps and RIR chicks are now ten weeks old! Should I say:Chickens?
We have not lost a one. We still have the 25 that survived the trip.
We have been having a lot of wind and the night temperatures are still down to freezing.
Today, was warm and calm, so my chicks are enjoying the outside pen.
They are settling down for their baths.
The chicks are too calm and really are friendly!
I ordered RIR. However, the substitute Orps have been a blessing. They are so tame and inquisitive.
One of the cockerels is trying to crow and I can hear a pullet trying to cluck.
I never thought chickens would be so entertaining and fun to enjoy!
My best,
Dick.
