Thank you for your replies. I hadn't heard this before but it came from someone who got it from a feed seminar from one of the feed companies. Maybe they heard wrong or it was just wrong information. Just thought I'd run it by ya'll !
Any truth to the idea that feeding tomatoes will decrease/stop egg laying?

Can chickens eat nuts- walnuts in particular?
I didn't have a very good light and some of mine looked like that... and they hatched. Yep 3 out 4 were roosters!
