I have taken pans full out to the animals.  It is just fine.  Yo would be amazed at what they would eat.  My rule of thumb, if you can compost it, they can eat it.

B&D Game Farm in OK sells eggs and birds.  I got some eggs and partnered with another person to hatch.  I get 30 eggs a day from my little gals.
