Yeap, my TSC gets cornish x chicks every wednesday...so if you wait a week and on tuesday's if they still have some, which is almost always the case you can get week old cornish x for $1 a piece.
What I was meaning was how many could you put in that trampoline to completely grow out?  Not just chicks.

Hmmm....wonder if I could just feed them my Layer 16% for the first few weeks then go to straight cracked corn.
Thinking of doing my next batch of four on cracked corn only.  Bag says it is 7% protein.  I don't care if they grow slower by feeding them this, just wondering if anyone else has done it and what the results were...
I keep food out for my six layers all day and take it up at night and they go through a 50 lb bag a month.  Does anyone feed your layers less or what do you do?
