It may be?  It is very interesting to work with.
The lavenders that I produced from the Coronation Sussex have a better feather quality and color than what I have seen so far in the US.  Just thinking of what direction to go in next.
Krys-  I agree it takes away from the Sussex but wanted to have the lavender gene from the Australian line to improve the lavender that is in the US project birds.I am keeping all the Australian Sussex pure and working on improving...
They are big beautiful and nice friendly birds. Plan on breeding the lavender Sussex/Orpingtons to our other Coronation rooster soon.
