Mine are on starter for the first 4 weeks. Then switched to broiler grower to finish. I also house mine inside and bring in clumps of sod for them to pick at.

I had  girl have her foot get squashed in a doorway. Nothing was broken but she kept it tucked up and couldn't stand on it. She went into the hospital, for a week came out fine.I just gave her rest.
Temps are fine. There doesn't appear to be any sign of actual illness, because nothing to my knowledge should kill that quickly. There should conceivably be some sort of outward symptoms. Its only the under 1 month old's that are dying...
Lost two more tonight, This is depressing.
I bought some EE chicks at an auction on Saturday. Most appeared in decent shape, some were missing a few feathers, however all seemed active and happy, no outward signs of any illness, clear nostrils, clear eyes, energetic and frisky....
I wouldn't "treat" it, I;d leave that one heal as best it can on its own. Since its a loss of circulation as opposed to an injury (i gather at least) leave it take its course, it could just have residual numbness? Or the circulation...
I suppose it wouldve helped had I noticed there was a second page....ugh. Im always late for the party!
